On 14 November World Diabetes Day, we prepared a school board with our Web2 Workshop eTwinning project students to raise awareness about diabetes and to emphasize its importance. We created a diabetes stand to inform our students and teachers. We distributed posters and brochures by giving information about diabetes in the classrooms. Through the activities, our students understood the importance of cooperative learning.

ESRA AKILLI BÜYÜKÇİĞLİ ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL- WORLD DIABETES DAY AWARENESS ACTIVITIES

    To be able to raise awareness among our students for ‘The World Diabetes Day’, our eTwinning Project team created posters using different web2.0 tools to inform about what is diabetes, its types, symptoms, and protection ways. They called attention to dangers of some beverages and to encourage their friends for healthy nutrition they prepared and shared some healthy recipes. Finally; they gathered all our studies in videos with a diabetes song and we shared our videos in both our social media accounts and also in students and teachers whatsapp gruops of our school and reached each student in our school. While learning about diabetes our students practiced language as well….
