On 14 November World Diabetes Day, we prepared a presentation and an ebook for our Web2 Workshop eTwinning project to raise awareness about diabetes with our students and to emphasize its importance. Then we evaluated the information we obtained with the wordwall web2 tool. Thanks to the activities, our students realized the importance of cooperative learning and working in groups

ESRA AKILLI BÜYÜKÇİĞLİ ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL- WORLD DIABETES DAY AWARENESS ACTIVITIES

    To be able to raise awareness among our students for ‘The World Diabetes Day’, our eTwinning Project team created posters using different web2.0 tools to inform about what is diabetes, its types, symptoms, and protection ways. They called attention to dangers of some beverages and to encourage their friends for healthy nutrition they prepared and shared some healthy recipes. Finally; they gathered all our studies in videos with a diabetes song and we shared our videos in both our social media accounts and also in students and teachers whatsapp gruops of our school and reached each student in our school. While learning about diabetes our students practiced language as well….
