Our eTwinning school team organized a trip to Ephesus with our school
travel club for 16 January The World Museum Selfie Day event that we
celebrate as part of our project. Ephesus is an important ancient city, which is located in Selçuk province of İzmir. It was one of the 12 cities of Ionia at the classic greek era. Its history dates back to BC 6000, to the Neolithic age. It was added to UNESCO Temporary World Heritage List in 1994 and in 2015, it became a world heritage.

ESRA AKILLI BÜYÜKÇİĞLİ ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL- WORLD DIABETES DAY AWARENESS ACTIVITIES

    To be able to raise awareness among our students for ‘The World Diabetes Day’, our eTwinning Project team created posters using different web2.0 tools to inform about what is diabetes, its types, symptoms, and protection ways. They called attention to dangers of some beverages and to encourage their friends for healthy nutrition they prepared and shared some healthy recipes. Finally; they gathered all our studies in videos with a diabetes song and we shared our videos in both our social media accounts and also in students and teachers whatsapp gruops of our school and reached each student in our school. While learning about diabetes our students practiced language as well….
